Live Forgiven Rival Shootit was a super challenging shoot, this was the first band i have shot live where i havent been familiar with all their music, so i couldnt anticipate the heavy/fast sections from the next, also i havent listened to hardcore for years... so i had forgotten the on stage antics.. from thrashing around to guitar throwing... nuts.
also, it was hard to navigate the crowd where i didnt know anyone in the front row, when usually its my mates up there.
also, there was no backlights or lighting effects other than two spots, so there wasnt alot to work with... was fun though.
also, i fucking forgot my ear plugs, so leaning against speaker stacks for support was a painful experiance!
very cool vibe and super fun, i forgot how fun hardcore gigs can be... but the crowd is usually snobby and the girl who pushed in front of me in the toilet on purpose was a mole!...
so.. upcmong will be shots from my first 'real' live shot, rather than a drunken ode to my mates music! hehehe
